SNP launches 2024 election manifesto
SNP is Scotland's largest political party and the party of government
The Scottish National Party (SNP) has launched its 2024 election manifesto, in which leader John Swinney said a vote for the SNP would be a vote to "build a better Scotland for all".
The manifesto sets out the SNP's plans for the next Scottish Parliament term, including:
- Investing in public services, such as healthcare, education, and transport
- Tackling the climate crisis
- Creating a fairer and more prosperous economy
- Delivering a referendum on Scottish independence
"This manifesto is about building a better Scotland for all," said Swinney. "It is a plan for a fairer, more prosperous, and more sustainable Scotland."
The SNP is the largest political party in Scotland, and the party of government. It is center-left and social democratic.
